STAFF
Our staff includes experienced camp leaders, an on-site Family Practice physician, two trained lifeguards, and a professional chef with volunteer kitchen staff. We happily accommodate children with food allergies, as long as notice is given ahead of time through the application process. Every group is lead by one or two experienced counselor as well as a counselor-in-training (CIT). We have staff training for three days before camp begins to assure safe and consistent practices throughout the camp experience.

Rev. Carol Kelly serves the congregation in Hillsdale, NY and its affiliates in Massachusetts, Vermont, and Camphill Village Copake. Carol was ordained in 2001.

Dolan Polglaze
Dolan has been involved with Camp Harmony Lake since 2016. His many loves include music, poetry, building things, and large cups of Bengal Spice. After graduating college with a degree in Philosophy, he moved to western New York where he currently lives and works as a dairy farmer.
Medical staff
Dr. Margaretha Hertle is a fully licensed Family Practice physician who practices anthroposophical medicine at the Ita Wegman Family Health Center in Ghent, NY.
Dr. Hertle has studied and worked with anthroposophical medicine for about 40 years in Germany, Switzerland and in the US, including 23 years in private practice (since 2002).
She has also served several years as a Waldorf School physician, six years as Camphill Village Copake Medical Director (2002-2008), 19 years as a children’s summer camp physician (every August).
