Director

Born in Moscow, Russia, Daniel has met the Christian Community in Boston, MA, while he was doing his Ph.D. in pure mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Shortly after this momentous meeting, it became clear to him that he is called to the priestly vocation in our movement. After finishing his Doctoral Studies, he began his studies in the Seminary of the Christian Community to see if this inner calling to priesthood was a true voice of God.

After studying in the Seminaries in Toronto and Stuttgart and doing an internship in Hannover, Germany, Daniel was ordained in Toronto on the 7th of July 2024. He spent his first year of priesthood helping to establish the community in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. And in the August 2025 he began his sending in the Christian Community in the Greater Washington-Baltimore Area.

He is full of joy and gratitude for this opportunity to give his life and energy to the Service of Christ within His community, so that His Love and His Peace may be evermore present in the world.
